Jackie and Jeff matched on a dating app while both in New Orleans for Jazz Fest in 2017. Though they didn’t meet while in New Orleans, Jackie and Jeff found that they had mutual friends and began talking when back in their respective homes of New York City and Atlanta. After texts, phone calls, and a few FaceTime dates, Jeff made a grand gesture and flew to NYC to meet Jackie in person. That was it for the both of them, and Jeff went back to Atlanta at the end of the weekend with a girlfriend in NYC and plans to return in a few weeks. Jackie and Jeff flew back and forth from Atlanta to NYC for a year and a half until Jeff moved to Brooklyn, where they now live in a sort of spacious one bedroom apartment in Fort Greene.
